The first of four groups of 6th graders participated in the BizTown simulation. As part of the simulation, the students ran the fictitious town. To do this, students balanced their checkbooks, paid taxes, completed tasks assigned by their employer, and applied soft skills such as critical thinking, communication, and teamwork. It was a great activity that capped off 12 in-class lessons on economics. We're excited for the rest of our 6th graders to experience this opportunity next week! #ConcordPride
