The 25th Annual Concord High School Potter’s Marathon is nearing the halfway point as students work for 24 hours to create pottery and raise money to benefit Riley Hospital for Children! This is an incredible fundraiser that means as much to these students as it does those they’re benefiting.

Indiana Latino Institute visited Concord High School today to prepare our latino freshman and sophomore students for college. Thank you to Zuly Leiva and Lucas Norrington for educating our students on their Grad to Grad Program and helping them find opportunities to apply for scholarships. Over 200 students attended small group workshops throughout the day! Huge shout out to Becca Roberts for organizing this event for our students. #ConcordPride
This weekend is the 25th Annual Potter's Marathon at CHS, an annual fundraiser for Riley Children's Hospital. Last year, a record-breaking $35,707 was raised to support Riley Children's Hospital! The total amount raised over the past 24 years is more than $500,000! Happy Apprenticeship Week! Concord Community Schools has partnered with Careerwise under the umbrella of the Horizon Education Alliance seeking to help students gain employability skills, while still in school. Concord currently employs 15 apprentices in various roles: future educators, transportation (bus garage/mechanic), translators, and technology positions. Students are learning on the job soft skills, gaining experience in the workforce, working toward certifications, and earning a paycheck. #ConcordPride

Each year, the Salvation Army offers a Christmas Assistance program for families of children ages 14 and under who need a little extra help to make the holiday season special.
