The 11,700-square-foot Concord Transportation Center was built on land located on the northeast side of the intersection of U.S. 33 and East Mishawaka Road, across from Concord Intermediate School.
The project is cost approximately $3.7 million and was paid for through the sale of a bond. This project did not raise taxes.
The facility will includes parking for 45 school buses, 45 spaces for bus drivers’ vehicles, parking for 20 staff, and spaces for support vehicles. A reception area, training/conference room, offices, break room, restrooms, and work room were also included in the building project. The bus bay area will features three bays, an office, parts and tool storage, and a restroom.
DJ Construction served as the general contractor.
